This is just awful!!!

This past week, we realised there were smells coming from the carpet, so we took up a corner and the full revolting state of things became clear. They had laid the carpet on top of underlay from the previous carpet, which was soaked in cat urine and stank to high heaven. The underlay was falling apart and turning to dust — some of it was stuck to the floor, assisted no doubt, by the cat piss.

This is just awful!!! I had to read this whole paragraph out loud to my husband. I can't imagine letting someone else's property get to that point... Let alone living in it for a while!!! 🤢
