Note: I am talking about how I, personally, love through the election. I don’t believe that it is everyone’s calling to be as quiet as I am. Someone has to speak up, and if that is YOUR calling, you are still welcome to be encouraged by this article in doing so in a loving and kind manner.

Election season is fast approaching. Some are already starting to vote. It’s a time of anticipation, tension, and usually division.

As unfortunate as it is, things can get really ugly.

I recently posted about my personal stance in what I choose and choose not to post during these times. My main goal being that I am here to spread love and kindness.

I want my page to be a welcoming place for any and everyone. Debating and arguing isn’t what I am after here. I don’t have the expectation that anything I say will suddenly change someone’s mind. That’s just not why I started writing.

So, today, I want to focus on what loving through the election really looks like to me.
