Why I Took A Break From Writing After I Said I Wouldn’t

& Why You Should Too

Last week, I just decided to not write. This may not be a big deal to you if you are new here, but if you go back through some of my older posts, I stated that no breaks were allowed (NO exceptions). Every week since July 2021, I have written three blogs. There was that one week where WiFi and computer chargers failed me, but you get the point.

Yet, here I am a week of no writing later, but trust me, I needed that break.

Maybe, it was a bad case of writer’s block and a need for inspiration.

Maybe, I was just lazy.

Maybe, I was too busy.

Or maybe, I was still working.

I was tired.

Part of my reason for taking a break was that I was struggling. I had so much on my mind, and no matter how hard I forced a smile, there wasn’t much behind it.

I write all of the time when I am in a bad place mentally. It’s literally what I do. My job on here is to complain and laugh about it. I use my struggles to encourage others. Plus, people like reading about drama, and I don’t blame them. There’s…
