Wow, this is a tough one.

A couple of years ago, I had someone reach out to me to discuss MAID in Canada. He had plans to go through with it because of years of fighting depression. He was not terminally ill. He came to me as a Christian. Therefore, I had to explain my views as a Christian. Christians are commanded to not murder. Suicide is considered the murder of oneself. From the Christian viewpoint, it is wrong. Unfortunately, I don't know what ended up happening to him. We eventually lost contact, and he stopped posting. ):

As a whole, I am not sure. To me, I see similarities between Physician-assisted death and the "Don't resuscitate" stance.
