Yes!! Another common misconception is, "They are looking down on you from Heaven." I was told that A LOT when my grandmother passed. It was said with the best of intentions in an attempt to comfort me. But I never have believed that nor told anyone that. I would hate for my grandmother to be looking down on this Earth. She was an amazing Godly woman, and she deserves the truest form of joy. It would make her sad to see how much she is missed and how this Earth is filled with so much pain. She deserves to forget that.

She isn't an angel, and she can't see me. BUT she is in paradise with the Lord, and THAT comforts me. (:
