Yes ): My excuse isn't as good as yours. I had the sweetest little teacup maltipoo. I had him for around 4 years. He was yappy sometimes, but I loved him. My husband hated him immediately. My dog loved my husband, but my husband just couldn't love him back. We were going to be traveling for his work once we got married. So, between the hate and traveling, I gave him up. It was awful. Thankfully, I just had to give him to my sister. I hardly see him, but I know he is good hands.
