Twitter Is A Battleground

You don’t realize how good it is on Medium until you go elsewhere.

Call it Twitter, X, or whatever. I personally prefer to call it Twitter. The one thing to confidently say about it is… There is no hate quite like Twitter’s.

I started on Twitter back in May. I posted all kinds of randomness. Then, I took a really long break. I got back on and decided to niche down. 99% of my posts are Christian based. Then, my dad paid for me to be verified for a year.

My dad’s gift gave me the motivation to really try on there. So, I am on there every single day besides Sundays.

I currently have 344 followers and 1.6k posts/retweets.

Don’t get me wrong… I enjoy the app, but the hate is unlike anything I have ever experienced elsewhere.

I have tried it all.

I tried Pinterest with one of my sisters for a little bit. I don’t even think that I ever got a single follower. So, I avoided all hate there.

I am on Instagram and Facebook, but there was a time that I really tried marketing myself on there too. I may have gotten a hate comment here and there over the 10 years that I have been on Instagram. In the last couple of years with a Facebook account, it’s been pretty tame. My crazy sister left a terrible comment before I could block her. Another time, I was sent a long paragraph from someone I used to know. Those are the only things I can of.

I tried YouTube a few times. I never had much of a following.

When I tried TikTok, I posted Christian content there too. I had a couple thousand followers. I would get a hate comment here and there, but nothing worth remembering.

All that to say, I have tried my fair share of social media platforms. Twitter takes the gold medal when it comes to hate.

People will argue anything.
