Will I Ever HAVE To Take A Break From Medium?
Balancing my Time Between Writing a Novel & Blogs

Medium is my priority, but as I get deeper into my novel, I realize I will have to become a pro at time management.
I am in the process of writing my second book, a Christian romance novel. The crazy part is… I am not a fiction writer.
This new project has turned out to be EVEN MORE work than I originally thought.
I am not complaining nor quitting. I am blessed to have this opportunity again. I just want to be honest.
Writing any book takes a lot of WRITING, research, and editing. My first book was a memoir on my entire life with anxiety. Even a book on my own life took quite bit of research.
It took me one year to write and publish my first book. (You can read about that process here.) I wasn’t a Medium writer at the time though. I had my own website, and I was fighting hard for a few views a post. I wasn’t making a single cent from any of my posts. There was no community.
In other words, I had no ties. I feel completely different when it comes to Medium though.
I love it here. I have always enjoyed blogging more than writing a book. This is where my true passion…
